This N Scale USRA 4-6-2 Heavy Pacific from Broadway Limited is based on USRA original and copies of the 20 original Heavy Pacifics built in 1919 for the USRA program, all of which went to Erie Railroad. From 1923 on, numerous copies were built, and many railroads operated similar locomotives which closely resembled the USRA engines. This detailed USRA 4-6-2 Heavy Pacific features full Paragon3 sound and DCC for realistic sound and motor control complete with back EMF for smooth slow speeds. The Paragon3 sound system works with all Broadway Limited Rolling Thunder(TM) advanced sound systems. Other features include a heavy die cast body and chassis; smooth-running drive, applied details; directional warm white LED lighting and magnetic knuckle couplers. The USRA 4-6-2 Heavy Pacific can be operated on all DCC systems as well as on standard DC railroads (with limited sound functionality).
