This Bachmann Spectrum HO Scale Baldwin 2-10-0 Russian Decapod is based on prototypes built for Russia in 1917 and captures the burly looks of the prototype. With the advent of the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917, the Baldwin Locomotive Works was forced to stop shipment of over 100 Decapod 2-10-2 engines originally bound for Czarist Russia. These orphan locomotives later found homes with American railroad companies and helped relieve a scarcity of motive power after WWI. This detailed model comes equipped with a TCS WOWSound and DCC decoder complete with 16-bit sound and a Keep-Alive device for smooth performance even over small dead spots on your track. This Baldwin 2-10-0 Russian Decapod features great electrical pickup; directional headlight and E-Z Mate(R) Mark II knuckle couplers. It performs best on 18" or larger radius curves. The Baldwin 2-10-0 Russian Decapod is one of many Bachmann HO Scale steam locomotives.
